    NEXT GENERATION Call Out - deadline end of Jan! Please spread the word.
    The Next Generation Network is a new network connected to a programme of activity involving an international performance element, hosted by the Kijimuna Festival, Okinawa, 2012. The programme is open to young and emerging artists from any country, interested in the practice of theatre for young audiences and international collaboration.
    This programme will be facilitated by participants from the Next Generation Project, which was a 3 year ASSITEJ Project, concluded in 2011. The working language is English with the capacity for translation into Japanese and Spanish.
    The Application deadline is the 30th January 2012. Please find more information here!

    Dear Friends and Colleagues,

    We are pleased to inform, that the HIGH FEST International Performing Arts Festival welcomes performing arts companies and artists to present their productions in all genres of performing arts including theatre (drama, comedy, mime, movement, circus, street performances, puppet/marionette, fingers theatre, visual), dance (modern, folk, classic etc.), music (opera, classical, musical, contemporary, jazz, folk etc) and other forms of performing arts.
    Two Programmes will be held in the framework of the Festival:

    *International Programme of Puppet and Children Performances;

    *ARMS FEST - Armenian International Student and Youth Programme.

    Welcome to the 31. Oulu Children’s Theatre Festival 20.-26.2.2012!

    This year the oldest theatre festival in Finland and still one of the biggest in Europe for young audiences, will present 24 different productions. Circus as a theme will show in visuality and complimentary activities but also in the main programme loaded with top Finnish circus acts, clownery, air acrobatics, in addition to fabulous international shows for babies, philosophical performances for youth and even radio drama.

    ASSITEJ proposes to unite theatres, organizations and individuals throughout the world dedicated to theatre for children and young people.

    ASSITEJ is dedicated to artistic, cultural political and educational efforts and no decision, action or statement of the Association shall be based on nationality, political conviction, cultural identity, ethnicity, or religion.

    ASSITEJ promotes international exchange of knowledge and practice in theatre in order to increase creative co-operation and to deepen mutual understanding between all persons involved in the performing arts for young audiences.
