The 21st edition of Krokusfestival, the international art festival for young audiences in Hasselt (Belgium) will take place between 9th and 15th of February.
The program is still in development, but the festival will present new work/premières by het nieuwstedelijk, Theater De Spiegel, beeldsmederij DEMAAN, Cie Woest, next to a Krokusfestival site specific production in children's bedrooms. Krokus welcomes international shows from France, Italy, Switzerland, Chile, Sweden, The Netherlands. The professional focus will be double.
First we develop the theme of the PUSH LAB (www.pushproject.eu): (over)protection. Secondly we make a second step in our 'think local create global'-trajectory in which cross-European collaborations are examined with Thailand, India, Egypt, Chile and Brazil.
