The International Festival of Children’s Theatre “Dandelion” was first organized seventeen years ago and has existed continuously since then. It is festival where children and youth perform for children and youth. The Festival has so far featured children’s theatre plays from India, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Russia, Bangladesh, Venezuela, Slovakia, Serbia, Macedonia as well as plays from different Croatian towns. In the last seventeen years numerous audience enjoyed watching a number of interesting children’s plays for the youngest generations. Creative workshops, such as those in juggling, puppetry, theatre, music and dance were held as a part of the Festival program as well. The tradition and quality make a strong statement and speak best of the “Dandelion” Festival. The festival organizer covers the costs of accomodation and meals..
