The festival was launched in 1999. One of its priorities is the search for present-day dramaturgy for youth, and directors using the theatre forms, which meet present-day requirements. Its guiding principle is positioning arts addressed to the younger generation as highly artistic work of current importance. The festival is a meeting place for theatre directors and management.
