  1. Secure stable funding for the general secretariat
  2. Continue to increase income by identifying and developing new income sources (working with foundations and government agencies, advertising, and public relations)
  3. Identify appropriate volunteer professionals with specific experience and related to theneeds of the organization, such as fundraising, networking, particular research areas. Create a ‘knowledge bank’ of these individuals, and, as needed, invite one or more ofthese individuals to be a ‘short-term’ counselors for one or two EC meetings.
  4. Analyze and improve communication and information systems in order to make them more efficient, inclusive and have a wider outreach and dissemination to national centers, practitioners, and other interested parties. This includes the newsletter, festival guide and website, exploring discussion groups, a blog, Facebook, a web resource area, and others. Continue to explore translation of appropriate documents.
  5. Create a contract to be signed by ASSITEJ and countries interested in hosting future world congresses. This contract would include language on expectations regarding the balance between a very inclusive representation of the entire membership of ASSITEJ as well as the highest standards of artistic expression.
  6. Continue to actively assist in the creation of new national centers; expand the efficiency of the regional networks; investigate dormant and gatekeeper centers and assist in making them active and inclusive; help provide tools to centers to assist in organizing and expansion as well as tools to assist with artistic professional development.
