Schoolyard Stories in Ibero America’s Project Directors Workshop – March 2010

Directors from Mexico, Uruguay, Paraguay, Venezuela, Spain, Brazil, Argentina and four members of the European project “Platform 11+” will be part of the activities that will be carried out in the Universidad Popular de Belgrano.
This will be a practical and intensive workshop along 6 days, based on the texts that have been previously selected for this project. This experience will be the second step towards future staging developed in the different countries that will be part of the Schoolyard Stories in Ibero America Festival in 2011.
Schoolyard Stories in Ibero America is an interdisciplinary project (that includes playwitting, direction, staging, photography and multimedia) about schoolyards in secondary schools, dealing with adolescent topics from previous researches in middle level schools in different Ibero American countries. Schoolyard Stories has different phases: Playwriting competition, direction workshop, international festival, plastic exhibition and young people meeting. This project is an ATINA initiative with the participation of the Ibero American ASSITEJ Centers and the collaboration of the European project “Platform 11+”
