In a large traditional festival established in Tarout Island in the Eastern Provence of Saudi Arabia, Assitej Saudi Arabia Center for children and young people theater showed an opening Operetta called “Awesome Oh Homeland”, with a cooperation of more than 50 children belong to five theater teams representing Ajras, AlRaihan, Alfareej and Al-Makhateer theater group.
This traditional festival "Dokhala" is one of the largest traditional festivals in the Gulf region, offering the heritage of the country in a modern and attractive way to the public and attended by hundreds of thousands of local visitors and from several regions and countries.
The script is written and directed by Mr. Hussain Al-Abdulmohsen, assisted by five young directors. They are Dr. Abdullah Al-Abdulmohsen (Pioneer of Gulf Children Theater), Mahdi Al-Ajami, Jehad Al-Helal, Ali Bu Hulaiga and the younger director Miss Sukaina Abdullah (11 Years old).
The Operetta came distinctive and carried high and demanding Semitism meanings and urged for the national unity and stressed the unity between the sons of one homeland, through several Scenes that came impressive to the audience who praised the crew who have dedicated themselves to provide such show carried with important messages to the sons of the homeland.
