Theatre and Education and Disability are the two themes we have chosen. We believe UK has useful experience in these areas to share with artists worldwide. UK Shows continue to tour widely abroad. The Scottish Government has supported a season of shows from Shona Reppe, Catherine Wheels, Starcatchers and Puppet State Theatre at the New Victory Theater in New York from September to November, followed by a show from Young Vic Theatre, London. Guy Holland of Quicksilver Theatre has been directing in Japan and Russia. Sarah Argent and Kevin Lewis of Theatr Iolo presented a show in Seoul and have been invited to Cameroun. Theatre Hullabaloo in UK is exchanging productions with Theatre Direct in Canada. TYA-UK Chairman Paul Harman will join Wolfgang Schneider to represent ASSITEJ EC in Dublin Ireland and at the World Alliance for Arts Education in Newcastle UK in October. The annual Takeoff festival with a focus on Early Years Theatre is in Darlington 10-12 November. If you would like to visit UK to see theatres for young audiences please contact paul.harman63@ntlworld.com. www.tya-uk.org
