The 3rd edition of IMMAGINA – International Puppets ́ Festival, will be held in Rome (Italy), from May 11th until May 14th 2023. Immagina is a widespread festival in the city of Rome, between the center and the outskirts and involves 4 different theaters of the Rome’s “Teatri in Comune” network (Teatro Villa Pamphilj, Teatro del Lido di Ostia, Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo e Teatro Tor Bella Monaca) and other prestigious venues in Rome, like Centro Congressi Roma La Nuvola, Eur Cascades’ Garden.

If selected, you will be asked to play your show different times in the different festival’s venues. Festival covers accommodation up to 4 days and fee (in which meals are included). Travel expenses are not covered by the festival.
If your company came on the 1st edition of Immagina last year, you can propose another show to participate again. If you are an Italian company, the show must never have been played in Rome before, and only few times in Italy.
Eventual translation expenses are in charge of the company.
Deadline for submission is February 20th 2023.
You will know if your show has been selected by email, by January 31st 2023, if you’ll be not selected you won’t be reached out by the festival.
