Founded in 1994, Figura is considered the most important festival of its kind in German speaking Switzerland, and enjoys an international putation. Figura presents a first class programme of selectexd productions from the national and international scene of puppetry and visual theatre.It takes place in all the theatres of Baden and Wettingen as well as in the streets and squares. Figura is aimed mainly at adult audiences, but also at families and school groups. Figura proves that contemporary Puppet Theatre is a highly independent and innovative art form. Figura initiates a wide ranging and creative discussion of Puppet Theatre and its contemporary forms.  Figura actively promotes the development of young talent in the theatre.
