Given that the theme of the 2017 ASSITEJ World Congress will be “One Step Beyond : Inter-cultural dialogue”,$1 treatment we are specifically calling for collaborative productions between African countries,$1 medical and African countries in partnership with other parts of the world.

These productions need to have premiered from 2012 onwards and must be geared for a specific age group between 0 and 20 years old. All genres and styles of performance will be considered but performances that reflect on or contribute towards our understanding of inter-cultural dialogue and exchange will be favoured. As this is our newest and most exciting category, treatment productions that are still in development may be considered. If you are interested in exploring an international collaboration, and have ideas for such a collaboration, but are looking for partners in Africa to work with, please approach ASSITEJ South Africa for suggestions or introductions.
